Sam Ong brings over 35 years of experience in corporate operations and leadership management, with extensive expertise developed through years of engagement in the China market as well as international business collaboration. He served for nearly 25 years in two companies listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange, holding positions as a professional manager and core member of the senior management team. He possesses strong leadership capabilities in corporate strategic planning, manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and organizational management.
His professional expertise spans multiple industries, including manufacturing operations, corporate management, supply chain systems, education consultancy, and healthcare services. He has also been actively involved in business resource integration, business model optimization, and international market expansion.
Currently, Sam Ong serves as the Chairman of SE Business Club, where he actively promotes business exchange and resource integration between Singapore, China, Southeast Asia, and international markets. He is committed to building a high-value, diversified, and sustainable international business ecosystem platform.

Tony is an international operations and expansion strategist with over 25 years of leadership experience across the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, and China, spanning hospitality, retail, and franchise ecosystems.
He has overseen portfolios of up to 33 operational units, driving revenue growth, digital transformation, structural optimization, and cross-border expansion within high-performance environments including Marina Bay Sands and international restaurant groups.
His role focuses on translating strategic direction into scalable execution frameworks, ensuring commercial viability and measurable performance outcomes across member ventures.
Evelyn Wang brings extensive cross-border experience between Singapore and China, with a long-standing focus on education strategy, organizational perspective, and value-based leadership development. Over the past decade, she has been invited to speak at more than 100 public and private engagements, engaging business owners, senior executives, and cross-border families on decision-making clarity and long-term development planning.
As founder of a China-based education consultancy, she leads an operating team that supports families in navigating cross-border education pathways into Singapore, building trusted networks across institutions and communities while steadily expanding the organization’s service capabilities.
Within SE Business Club, she provides governance-level perspective and cross-regional insight, strengthening strategic direction, trust alignment, and long-term stability across the Club’s ecosystem.
Dr. Chua Chee Lay is a distinguished educator and cultural consultant with extensive experience across academic and institutional platforms. He has significantly contributed to educational development, policy-making, and cross-cultural research. Notably, he serves as the Chinese language mentor to several Singaporean dignitaries and is the President of the Singapore AI Education & Leadership Association.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Dr. Chua was awarded the Public Service Medal (PBM) by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam in 2024. He specializes in bridging traditional education with AI innovation, providing strategic foresight for the Club’s educational and cultural initiatives to ensure they remain at the forefront of global trends.
Dr. John Chia is a senior oncologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital Curie Oncology, with over twenty years of experience in clinical practice and cancer research. He was the former Chief of the Gynaecology Oncology service in the Division of Medical Oncology, National Cancer Centre Singapore. He is actively involved in advancing medical innovation and international research projects, and serves as an Executive Committee member of the Medical Board.
He is also a member of the Parkway Independent Ethics Committee, overseeing the review and approval of clinical research. In the Club, Dr. John Chia leverages his deep medical expertise to ensure that members' medical projects adhere to rigorous clinical and ethical standards.
Arthur Yap is a Director in the Litigation Department and Head of Dispute Resolution at Oaks Legal LLC. He possesses extensive experience in handling complex commercial, construction, and intellectual property matters. He is highly regarded for his ability to integrate technical and legal perspectives to formulate clear, effective strategic directions for high-stakes cases.
As a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb), Arthur is also a member of the Intellectual Property Arbitrators panel at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). Within the Club, he provides critical legal oversight and strategic counsel, ensuring that member ventures are protected by robust legal frameworks and sound risk management.
Dr. Jane Sun is a seasoned R&D leader with over 20 years of experience in the beverage, food, and ingredients sectors. She has built a distinguished career with global industry leaders, including Coca-Cola, Starbucks, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL), and Nutrilite. As the Head of APAC R&D at CHAGEE, she drives innovation and product development across the region. With a PhD in Food Science, Dr. Sun combines scientific expertise with strong commercialization capabilities, bringing a proven track record of delivering successful food and beverage innovations throughout Asia Pacific.
Mr Denon Lim is the President and Chief Editor of Lingzi Media and the Honorary President of the Singapore Association of Writers. With over three decades of experience in media, publishing and literary promotion, he is widely regarded as one of Singapore’s representative poets and cultural practitioners. He was awarded First Prize (2003) and Second Prize (2001) in the Chinese Poetry category of the Singapore Golden Point Award, received the inaugural Bauhinia Literary Contribution Award in Hong Kong in 2020, and won First Prize at the 4th Bauhinia Global Poetry Competition in 2024.
Mr Lim has authored multiple poetry collections and children’s literary works, and has edited various literary anthologies. He is also actively involved as a judge in regional Chinese literary awards.
In his role within the club, he focuses on cultural project planning, brand narrative development, and media strategy, providing member enterprises with insights that integrate cultural depth and market perspective.
Dr Cheryl Loh has been a practicing psychiatrist since 2008. She is experienced in all areas of general psychiatry, and has a special interest in adolescent mental health – comfortably managing neurodevelopmental, behavioural, learning and mood conditions. Before setting up Garden Grove Clinic, she was Head of Department of Psychological Medicine at Changi General Hospital, and she set up its Adolescent Psychiatry Service there. She has particular clinical interests in adolescent depression, self-harm, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and high-functioning autism spectrum disorders.
Dr Cheryl believes in common sense, humour and gentleness. She finds her work meaningful and is committed to working through difficulties with her patients.
She will be practicing at both our Joo Chiat and Mount Alvernia clinics.
